Job Title: Account Director (Filmed Entertainment Division)
Location: London (hybrid)

 

Overview:
We have an exciting role for a senior TV PR professional to join our television team on a maternity leave fixed term contract. This role will play a part in delivering high-impact campaigns for leading production companies and industry bodies across the filmed entertainment space. You will take day-to-day ownership of key consumer accounts and campaigns, shaping strategy, ensuring excellence in execution, and maintaining Premier’s reputation as a trusted strategic partner.

This position is for a fixed term contract of 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave in our Filmed Entertainment Division, based in the London office (we operate hybrid office/home working).

 

Role Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Television, you will lead delivery across Premier’s clients including production companies, broadcasters and industry charities and leaders. Acting as a senior point of contact for clients and media, you’ll drive campaign strategy, manage team resource and ensure Premier’s work is both industry-savvy and outcomes-focused. A key part of your role will be managing end-to-end campaign strategy across our clients. The team is made up of a group of highly talented individuals with responsibility for areas including unit through to launch, awards activity and reputation management. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee campaign delivery across a portfolio of retained clients and special projects 

  • Act as the senior client contact, owning campaign strategy, budgets, messaging, media planning and delivery timelines

  • Develop and manage briefing documents and key deliverables for active accounts

  • Drive media strategy and press engagement in collaboration with the team

  • Maintain strong personal media relationships across print, trade, broadcast titles

  • Work closely with the team on retained clients aligning on campaign timelines and objectives

  • Handle media briefings on complex subject matters for clients and stakeholders ahead of interviews and speaking opportunities, reputational management 

 

Essential Experience & Attributes:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Television PR

  • Proven track record in managing high-profile client accounts and delivering strategic campaigns across consumer and corporate campaigns 

  • Strong knowledge of the UK television and streaming landscape, with a clear understanding of key players, platforms, trends, and decision-makers

  • Excellent media contacts and confident handling of press engagement across consumer, trade and broadcast media 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and impactful messaging

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently delivering results while balancing client expectations and guiding teams towards shared objectives

  • Excellent communicator with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and able to present a highly professional image when representing Premier and our clients 

  • Proactive, organised, and collaborative

  • Experience working on event-led campaigns, screenings, and industry events is highly desirable

  • Experience at reputation and crisis management - successfully and confidently manage reactive media or stakeholder issues, preparing lines to response, and ability consult clients throughout the process 

  • Positive mindset and a passion for television and filmed entertainment

 

This is a Maternity Cover fixed term full-time role for 12 months (working hours 9.30-6.00 weekdays, with occasional out of hours working essential), with 25 days holiday per annum (plus all public holidays).
Start Date: December 2025 / January 2026
Location: London (we operate hybrid office/remote working and are happy to discuss flexible working)
