Job Role
We’re looking for an ambitious, dynamic Associate Director to join our brands and music team within the wider Consumer Entertainment Department, covering gaming, music, sport and brands.

You’ll be collaborating with a brilliant team to oversee the running of client work, both locally and globally, as well as providing counsel and strategic direction, and motivating the team to craft work that truly is their best. You’ll also work alongside our colleagues who oversee award winning events, stunts, brand partnerships and content creation for our client roster.
Key Tasks – Department
· Direct / motivate / encourage your client account handling teams as well as acting as a mentor and role model within the department
· Troubleshoot any personnel problems
· Keep abreast of industry developments and ensure the team is adapting to them
· Provide the department lead with accurate information for contracting and accounts procedures in a timely manner
· Generate and deliver new business pitches – leading both the process and pitch meetings on behalf of the department
· Identify and convert organic growth opportunities across existing clients
· Line manage senior team members, support their development, progression and performance
· Support the Director in shaping longer-term commercial opportunities for the department
· Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
· Conduct regular performance reviews
Key Tasks – Client Servicing
· Establish strong, trusted relationships with clients and improve the company's reputation in terms of delivery and quality
· Deliver excellent earned activity, which includes counselling and development of all media strategy.
· Grow the client media base in your area
· Oversee team pitches to the media
· Ensure all client briefs are clearly defined and understood by the team
· Lead the strategic and creative direction of major campaign proposals on retained and new accents
· Present proposals and new business pitches to current and potential clients
· Ensure existing client briefs are met and reported on as requested
· Oversee the compilation and distribution of weekly/monthly client reports
· Oversee client business objectives and delegate specifics to the account team as necessary
· Oversee the team’s creation of all client press material
· Troubleshoot potential client and media problems
· Oversee client budgets and ensure all projects come in on budget
· Seek out opportunities to expand the scope of existing client briefs for other services across Premier and build a strong internal relationship across all departments to drive this integrated income
· Ensure repeat business from project clients and seek out any additional new business opportunities
· Play a lead role in pricing, scoping and resourcing new and existing projects
Who are you?
· Proven experience at Senior Account Director or Associate Director level within a PR or integrated agency
· Have a strong understanding of culture, entertainment and music trends and able to translate them into opportunity
· Strong background in consumer, entertainment or brand-led campaigns
· Experience working with high-profile, complex or global clients
· Experienced in leading new business pitches and collaborating with colleagues from across a business to ensure the process runs smoothly
· Able to identify, shape and deliver earned stories that cut through and travel across multiple channels
· Skilled at building strong, lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and media through clear and confident communication and experienced in generating additional revenue from existing clients
· Strategic approach, anticipating challenges and staying ahead of emerging trends to guide client work effectively
· Experienced in project and event management, leading multiple teams and interagency groups to deliver work to the highest standard
· Proficient in social and digital, with expertise in influencer programmes, social listening and the development of integrated digital strategies
· Champion a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture
· Confident senior client lead, comfortable challenging and advising at a high level
Reporting Line
· You will report directly to Director of Brands and Music within the Consumer Entertainment Department.
