We’re looking for a driven, creative and culturally plugged-in Account Manager to join the Gaming division at Premier – the UK’s leading specialist agency for entertainment, arts, and culture.

THE TEAM:

You’ll join the Consumer Entertainment department in a team of diverse, curious and creative specialists in live entertainment, sport, music, gaming and lifestyle. We work with some of the most exciting clients in the world on a range of integrated campaigns across PR, comms, influencer, events, live experience, content creation and creative.

Our Games team is embedded within the gaming industry, working for some of the biggest global developers, publishers and consumer tech brands across the industry, including Bloober Team, EA, EA SPORTS, NetEase Games, PLAION, Quantic Dream, Saber Interactive, Scopely Explore, SEGA, and Warner Bros. From AAA blockbusters to indie gems, cutting-edge hardware to high-profile industry events, we’ve been at the forefront of shaping gaming’s biggest moments.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

You’ll be enthusiastic about gaming, pop culture and media – someone who can confidently manage multiple projects and priorities, has a finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and changes, a nose for news, and a proven ability to deliver strong results for clients.

You’ll be an experienced PR professional who is comfortable taking ownership of client accounts and campaigns, leading client conversations, developing strategic recommendations, building strong media and influencer relationships, and managing and mentoring junior team members.

You’ll be proactive and solutions-focused, able to spot opportunities and potential challenges before they arise, and confident in taking responsibility for delivering against client objectives.

Experience required:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in a PR agency or comms environment, ideally in entertainment, gaming or lifestyle sectors

  • A solid understanding of the UK media and influencer landscape with established contacts

  • Experience with press releases, media sell-ins, coverage tracking and reporting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Genuine interest in gaming, pop culture, content creators, and online communities

  • Ability to work proactively and manage multiple deadlines

  • Confidence to share ideas and thoughts

  • Previous experience mentoring interns or junior team members is a plus

THE ROLE:

As an Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of a range of gaming accounts, acting as a key client contact and driving campaigns from planning through to delivery. You’ll combine strong PR execution with strategic thinking, using your media knowledge, industry insight and creativity to deliver impactful results for clients. You’ll also play an important role in managing and developing junior members of the team, ensuring work is well planned, delegated and delivered to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time and against agreed objectives

  • Lead client communication, including calls and meetings, providing clear updates, recommendations and solutions and building trusted day-to-day relationships

  • Develop and deliver PR strategies and campaigns alongside senior team members, bringing strong ideas and industry insight to client work

  • Drive proactive media and influencer activity, securing impactful coverage and identifying opportunities across gaming, entertainment and mainstream media

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, creators and other relevant third parties

  • Oversee press office, reporting and campaign output, ensuring materials, coverage and client reporting are accurate, insightful and delivered on time

  • Manage and develop junior team members, delegating effectively, overseeing quality and deadlines, and providing feedback, mentoring and support

  • Proactively identify and solve challenges, taking ownership of issues and presenting practical solutions to clients and senior team members

  • Contribute to new business and account growth, identifying opportunities to add value to existing clients and supporting proposals and pitches

  • Share gaming, media and cultural insight with clients and the wider team, helping to identify new opportunities and strengthen campaign thinking
